Surface preparation: Ensure that the surface to be painted is clean, dry and free from oil, grease or loose material. Afri Cote Chlorinated Rubber paint can be applied directly by use of brush, dipping or spraying. EQUIPMENT Can be applied using brush, dipping or by spraying. Thin and stir as per requirement
Cleaning: Equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with Afri Cote CR Paint thinner.
Colours: Available in wide range of colours. Please refer to our shade card for standard available colours. Special colours can be manufactured on request.
Remark: Atmospheric conditions like temperature and humidity, film thickness, interval of coats etc. can affect on drying time.

New plaster & masonry

Seal bare areas with Universal Undercoat
Apply 2 coats of CHLORINATED RUBBER PRIMER

Wood & joinery

Prime knots and bare timber
Undercoat, then 2 coats of CHLORINATED RUBBER PRIMER

Metal

Spot-prime with a suitable metal primer
Finish with 2 coats of CHLORINATED RUBBER PRIMER

Surface preparation

1Make sure the surface is clean, dry and sound.
2Lightly sand glossy or previously painted areas for adhesion.
3Prime bare or porous areas with Colourtrend Universal Undercoat.
4Fill cracks and holes, then sand smooth and dust off.
5Allow new plaster and cement to fully cure before painting.
