Surface preparation: Ensure that the surface to be primed is clean, dry and free from oil, grease or loose material. For most of iron and steel surfaces, Apply one coat of Colourtrend Zinc Chromate Primer, allow it to dry for 16 - 24 hours and then apply subsequent Undercoat or Topcoat.
Cleaning: Equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with Maroo white spirit.

Seal bare areas with Acrylic Primer
Apply 2 coats of ZINC CHROMATE PRIMER (YELLOW)

Wood & joinery

Prime knots and bare timber
Undercoat, then 2 coats of ZINC CHROMATE PRIMER (YELLOW)

Metal

Spot-prime with a suitable metal primer
Finish with 2 coats of ZINC CHROMATE PRIMER (YELLOW)

Surface preparation

1Make sure the surface is clean, dry and sound.
2Lightly sand glossy or previously painted areas for adhesion.
3Prime bare or porous areas with Colourtrend Acrylic Primer.
4Fill cracks and holes, then sand smooth and dust off.
5Allow new plaster and cement to fully cure before painting.
